WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE BAND/SINGER?

In this first activity what I want you to do is to write a message (in English) telling us something about your favourite group or singer. In addition, you have to copy a link from Youtube to let the rest of the class know about the kind of music you like.

Of course the band/singer you choose should sing in English.

    Hello,

    My favourite song is"Ho Hey",it's of The Lumineers.They are a folk rock and an american band.Forming this band Wesley Schulte(guitar),Jeremiah Fraites(drums) and Neyla Pekarek(cello).
    It was published in december of 2012.They used it to the end of Hart of Dixie."Ho Hey" was named best song of 2012.

    My favorite song is "HEY BABE" is Calum Heaslip, born in Granada in 2002. Then he moved to Palma de Mallorca where he learned to play guitar with five years.

    Hello.I'm Alexia. My favorite song is "Heartbreaker"of Auryn.
    The singers are from Spain but they sing in English. The band is formed by five boys. Last year I was in a concert of Auryn in Tudela.

      First of all, I would like to ask you a question. If they’re Spanish, why do they sing in English? It could be a matter of marketing? What do you think?

      Secondly, can you tell me anything else about that concert? Who did you go with? Was it your first concert? Where did the concert take place?

      Hello again Julio.
      I think that this group sings in English for marketing reasons.
      Something else of the concert? Now, I loved it. Just that day was the birthday of one of the singers and we sang him happy birthday. I went with my mother,my father,Leyre's father and Leyre.
      This was not my first concert, the first one was in Madrid, a concert of Violetta.
      The concert was in the Tudela square.

    My favorite song is "Wonder Woman" of Sweet California.
    Sweet California is a Pop Spanish girlband formend by Alba Reig Gilabert, Rocio Cabrera Torregosa and Sonia Gómez González and they sing in english.
    The video and the sing were published in July of 2015.

      Regarding your comment, you’re right, you should have used the verb to be instead of the verb to have.

      By the way, try to avoid translation from Spanish when you’re writing in English.
